Decorating your home with woodcrafts suffuses your home with a certain warmth and charm that is very reminiscent of country living. There is a wide assortment of woodcraft projects, from the simple plaque to more complex carved artifact and intricately woven wicker basket. Woodcrafts enhance your home with an atmosphere that goes beyond mere décor. The warm and welcoming appeal of woodcrafts is beyond compare. It’s in the way it is constructed and the way it is finished that makes a woodcraft welcome plaque feel wonderfully welcoming and a woodcraft Adirondack chair look infinitely inviting. Although there’s nothing tangible about the appeal of woodcraft décor; appealing it is.
Versatile Woodcraft
Woodcraft is a versatile accessory for any room, whether you wish to use it in the living room, kitchen, dining room or the entrance. You can customize it to suit your own unique needs and use it to display any image or message you wish. Woodcraft encompasses tiny decorative accessories as well as larger items of furniture.
Woodcraft Plaques
Hang a woodcraft welcoming plaque at your entrance and watch it soon turn into a conversation piece. A plaque with a special message for the whole family can turn a stark kitchen into a warm cozy haven. You could even get woodcraft plaques with personalized sun signs for each member of the family and hang it in their bedrooms.
Woodcraft Animals
Animal-shaped welcome signs add extra versatility to your woodcraft. You can leave them up wherever you want to and only change the outfits to match the season or even a special occasion or during the different holidays. Your little woodcraft animal could be dressed in black and orange for Halloween and red and green for Christmas.
Woodcraft Picture Frames
Preserve your special memories in woodcraft picture frames in different shapes and sizes. Woodcraft picture frames in the bedroom are an excellent way for each member of the family to display their singularly special photograph or family photographs or even to display a favorite keepsake. Frame your children’s art in woodcraft picture frames and hang them all over the house for a completely unique interior décor idea that you are unlikely to see in anybody else’s home.
Given their simplicity of construction, woodcraft picture frames are also easy make-at-home projects. Let every member of the family make their own picture frame. Alternatively buy plain picture frames from any craft and hobby store and get everybody to personalize their own frames. Woodcraft frames are easy to paint and stain and also easy to decorate with rhinestones, shells, beads and sequins.
Woodcraft Christmas Ornaments
Woodcraft Christmas ornaments will last forever. Give your Christmas tree a touch of ‘something old; something new‘ by decorating the tree with traditional woodcraft ornaments along new and shiny baubles and glass ornaments. For a Christmas tradition the kids are sure to cherish and carry forward, commemorate every Christmas with a specially personalized woodcraft Christmas ornament.
Angels in different avatars are a delightful addition to any Christmas tree. Woodcraft angels with sassy expressions will give your Christmas tree a completely different look as compared to the look of a tree with innocent-looking angels or romantic angels hanging from it.
The #1 Spooky, Affordable and Fun Halloween Décor
We may all have different images when we think about Halloween (perhaps thinking scary, spooky, candy Ã? my favorite yummy image, costumes, etc.); however those that enjoy Halloween can wrap up a description that consists of 3 letters:Â F.U.N!
Remember the phrase “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”! Just like one décor may make a person shriek in fear (eeeewwww looking pillow), another may feel that it is perfect for them (ahhhhh zzzzz pillow).
There is one Halloween “economical” décor that is a true classic. Want to guess what is? I will give you a few seconds to guess.
Okay, time is up – it is synthetic spider webbings! The following is why they are a FANTASTICALLY FUN Halloween décor and one of my favorite Halloween interior decorating economical secrets:Â
- one small bag can decorate about 4 rooms since the material easily stretches
- if you are not fond of spiders, keep the webbing and leave the plastic spiders out (this also keeps people in suusssspense not seeing where the spiders are)
- most variety “dollar” stores actually carry them in October (yep, just for about $0.99!); you may even find these at your local pharmacy stores (CVS, Rite Aide, etc.)
- you can place then in unexpected places (surprise you friends and family when they come over, and if you forget where you placed them, then you will end up surprising yourself)
- it is reusable, so you can use your investment (approx. $0.99) next year!Â
So, get out of your pajamas and decorate with FUN this Halloween (have fun throughout the
month of October!). If you are worrying about the economy, stop and splurge $1.00 to have FUN with the spider webs!Â
Make sure that you keep the webs away from: the reach of children (they may just enjoy pulling the web waaaay too much, plus even mistake them for cotton candy), heated areas including light bulbs (to avoid fire hazard), and movable furniture/furnishings (to avoid having to detangle).Â
Â
Some fun places to place spider webs are:
- mirror corners
- entryways
- doors
- ceiling
- on artificial plants
- candlesticks (perfect for spooky centerpieces)
- computer screen (a small amount can give you a smile every time you see it)
So if you want a FUN, economical Halloween décor that is simple yet SPOOKY, then spiderwebs are just what the Halloween witch doctor recommends . If you want to add more then spiderwebs to your decor or to simply look at some other cool decor, then check out these links that carry unique fun Halloween items:

Cupcakes have become popular treats during Halloween. They’re also fun to prepare and decorate too. Whether they’re trick-or-treating giveaways or tasty delights to munch on at a party, cupcakes make for really great treats for coming any holiday.
Nowadays, adorning cupcakes go way beyond merely putting frosting or sprinkling it with embellishments. If you want to jazz up cupcakes, perhaps this season is an opportune time for you to really use your creativity.
No Halloween celebration is ever complete without creepy flying or crawling creatures or things supernatural. These can give you a handful of quick and simple ways to give cupcake adornments that spooky touch.
The beauty of adorning spooky cupcakes is that its flavor does not really matter. You can create witchy cupcakes with any of your very favorite cookie or cake recipes. Use a mix if you like and you still get great results.
Add more burst to ordinary cupcakes with Halloween decorations that are not only yummy to eat, but are also fun to prepare. How about decorating gooey eyes to your Halloween-inspired cupcakes? There are countless possibilities that you can do with it.
To create gooey eyes for your Halloween themed cupcakes, here’s what you’ll need:
Frosting
Empty gelatin capsule
Gummy candy
Sprinkles
Powdered sugar
Prepare dust cupcakes with powdered sugar. Then draw the eyes and mouth using your choice of frosting. Make sure to frost it first to keep the gooey eyes from sticking. Cut into two equal parts the empty gelatin capsules. You can get these capsules at your local health and natural food stores or online.
To make the eyeballs: Just fill the capsules with one sprinkle or whatever idea that fits your fancy. Round sprinkles are best to get this look. Cut the gummy candy into half, arranging each on your powdered cupcake.
You can also use tapioca pearls as substitute. Now, stick the capsules onto the gummy matter. Your gooey eyes should stick onto the frosting. Decorate cupcakes with hats too. To prepare, draw a circle in the middle of a cupcake. Then cut a part of a cupcake into a deep, cone shape held at an angle.
Then, complete the circle by rotating your cupcake and taking out its center. Do the same for all other cupcakes. Scoop frosting onto the middle of each cupcake, filling the hole. Then top using a wafer cookie with a dot of frosting in its center. To make hat, reverse the cone-shaped part of your cupcake. Form eyes and nose with round sprinkles. Use grated coconut or cereal flakes to make hair as well.
You can adjust the amount of your ingredients depending on how many spooky cupcakes that you want to scarily decorate. You can even substitute other ingredients as well. The possibilities are endless!

When summer dies out and the fall winds come blowing in, it’s time to redecorate your home’s interior. Fall décor is all about giving your home’s interior that mix of spice and warmth that defines the season. And whether it’s changing the pillow covers or adding pumpkin decorations to your fireplace, you’ll find that it’s the details that count. The small design decisions are what is going to make your home’s interior feel like it’s truly in tune with the season. Here are a few basic interior decorating tips for the fall that should help you get started.
Changing textures
Texture is one of the most important elements of interior designs. The fall is a time for heavier, warmer textures that reflect the season’s earthy mood. The crisp linen pillow covers should be replaced by soft velvet or chenille. You can also add slipcovers to your chairs and couches. It not only adds texture to the room, but it gives the furniture pieces new life.
Colors
If you’re looking for your fall color scheme, just take a look at the trees. The reds and deep golden yellows of the leaves and the earthy tones that you find in nature at this time of year are essentially what you’ll use in your interior design project. The bright greens and yellows of summer are gonna be replaced by the deeper, warmer colors of fall. New pillow covers and window drapes are a good idea. Also, don’t be afraid of adding subtle, fall-colored design patterns the walls of your rooms.
Holiday décor
Halloween and Thanksgiving are the two holidays that characterize the fall. Decorating your tables with cornucopias and gourds, and lining your fireplace with pumpkins and other holiday-themed accent pieces can look great. Holiday décor will make the room feel interesting and it will add to the overall feeling of the fall aesthetic. Lighting can also make a big difference so consider looking for San Diego lamps.
Scents
The smells that inhabit a room are as much a part of its interior design as are the colors of its walls and its furniture arrangements. For the fall, add some cinnamon-scented candles, as well as chrysanthemums and other seasonal flower bouquets to the interior décor of your home. It will give the rooms a new level of warmth and comfort that goes along with the spirit of fall.

What on earth does this double heading means? How can she possibly write about two subjects at once? I think she has lost it! This must be what you are thinking when you are reading this headline, I know. The point is, for me the two is part of a whole, your decorating ideas for baby showers will have to include ideas for baby showers centerpieces.
Decorating Ideas For Baby Shower:
Thinking about decorating ideas for baby shower does not have to be a problem. Do not be bound by convention and think of any theme you like. Keep the mommy-to-be’s likes and dislikes in mind. Her sense of humor will also play a very big role in your choice. If you are thinking about a humorous theme with humorous decorations and a humorous centerpiece, you better make sure she will find it funny.
What is always good is to incorporate the seasons and holidays into your theme and thus into your decorations. Doing it this way ensures that you will not have any trouble getting hold of the supplies you need. It is always very easy to give any seasonal or holiday theme a “baby” twist, even Halloween!
Baby Showers Centerpieces:
Once you have decided on a theme for your baby shower and you know which decorations you are going to use, it is easy to think of a centerpiece. Once again, it does not have to be that unique! As long as it fits in with all the other decorations and add to the festivity it is fine.
It is good to keep in mind that even the well know “diaper” cake can be made to fit in with any theme with a few good addition to it’s decorations. Always make sure that the decorations can be removed easily and completely from the diapers otherwise the mommy-to-be will not be able to actually use the diapers!
So, now you know shy I think about decorating ideas for baby shower and baby showers centerpieces in the same breath.
