How to Design a wonderful Princess Lolita fit for 2011 Halloween cosplay party ?

An adult princess party: we’re not talking all princess Disney costumes here (although all who arrive Cinderella princess dresses and Snow White princess dresses will be admitted.) An adult princess party is an opportunity to live out the childhood princess dream with a party of your friends, dressed in Little Adventures princess costumes adult as well.

Think pink? A pink princess party is an easy one to follow. Pink tiaras and pink martinis should be provided, as well as small pink-iced cookies. Pink princess décor is easy to find, since pink infiltrates most of the princess Disney costumes and princess costumes adult.

If a pink princess is too exuberant, there are many other themed options.

A Princess Ball makes the men invited to the party feel less awkward about attending. Request formal attire, men can come in suits or tuxes and women can arrive in their best rendition of the Cinderella princess dress. Lay red carpet down on the entryway, and as an added flair, have someone with a powdered wig announce the guests as they arrive. The party can follow as a usual ball, with dancing and refreshments. With a Cinderella princess party, you can include a location to try on a “glass slipper” as well.

A black and white princess party puts a modern edge on a traditional feminine theme.

Think of a Snow White princess dress in a black, white, and silver. Use these colors to decorate, enhancing with white lights, candles, and dark furniture. The modernistic elements of this type of party will put guests more at ease with a princess theme, while still allowing all in princess costumes adult to accessorize their Little Adventures Cinderella princess dress with a tiara.

A Disney princess theme is so childish that it can not only revive that childish spark, but be humorous as well. Have your friends pull out any princess Disney costumes they have. If they need a princess costume adult, check into brands like Little Adventures for their adult princess collection. Little Adventures makes a Cinderella princess dress and Snow White princess dress in adult sizes, as well as other princess costumes adult. Decorate with the Disney princess accessories, and play Disney movie soundtracks as the background music. If it’s an all-women party and everyone is in their princess Disney costumes, don’t be shy about playing a classic old Disney movie and watching it with popcorn together.

You’ve got the princess Disney costumes set aside from the girls dress up costumes. You’ve even made a selection from the princess costumes adult for you to wear to the birthday party. Everything is lined up for the perfect princess birthday party… except the cake. Well don’t get your Cinderella princess dress all in a ruffle! There are a lot of great options for the perfect princess birthday cake, from a Snow White princess standing cake to simple cupcake holders. Whatever your style, there is a princess cake option that will, quite literally, put the icing on the cake for your princess party.

The most extravagant cake idea is the standing princess doll cake. You’ll need a Barbie-sized plastic doll for this cake of a Cinderella princess or Snow white princess or other princess of your choice. Bake a cake in a round bundt or bell-shaped pan. Strip the doll, wash her quickly, and gently press her into the center of the cake. Decorate the cake as the dolls dress, using the princess Disney costumes as a guide. This standing cake looks just like the princess herself, and is memorable for the birthday girl to have a cake that looks just like her girls dress up costumes.

Castle cakes come in all shapes and sizes. They can be as simple as a sheet cake with a couple castle-shaped toppers or as extravagant as piled loaf cakes cut into a castle, complete with moat. Castle cakes are more than just cakes; they are centerpieces to the party. The memory of a mother in a princess costumes adult, carrying a lit castle cake to the center of a table of singing friends is a memory that is sure to last a lifetime.

Cake toppers are a simple way to make any cake special. Look for toppers shaped like a Cinderella princess, Snow White princess, or other princess. What is the birthday girl‘s Custom Princess Dress Cosplay Costume ? Is she wearing a special girls dress up costume to the party? If so, you can search for a cake topper that would match the birthday girl‘s attire. A simple sheet cake can be a princess playground with just a cake topper two.

Halloween Homemade Ideas For Costumes in 2010

All Hallow’s Eve is getting more and more popular every single year, and Halloween homemade costume ideas are becoming more and more valuable for those who want to create a unique get-up to stand out at parties this year.

While the store-bought costumes and the old standbys such as witches, ninjas, celebrities, pirates, and many others are popular and always will be, adding your own touch to a costume or making your own usually lead to prize-winning outfits come October 31 when Halloween is celebrated.

Different household items and clothing ideas can be utilized in different ways to create an amazing costume for little money, but you have to be crafty about obtaining these items. Here are some tips for Halloween homemade costumes this year and how to get what you need.

Tip#1: A Little Help From Your Friends

Do you have a friend who is a cop, or a firefighter, or has some other profession that would possess interesting items for use in a costume?

Give them a call. Or you could even call just a friend of yours who has a lot of clothes and go check out what they have in their closet. You never know when the inspiration might strike for a new, unique costume idea for Halloween. Many of the best costume ideas come about by accident for Halloween.

Tip#2: Thrift Stores

The Salvation Army and similar places have a wide variety of random clothes and other items you could take a look at. This is an important Halloween homemade costume tip to remember not just for the sake of your costume idea but also because it will allow you to help the less fortunate when shopping this October for your new look.

Tip#3: Craft Stores

Some people don’t bother to look in craft stores but they can be home to lots of ideas for Halloween. You can take the ideas from a craft store and extend them into your costume-buying experience and you also might be able to find cloth and other raw materials to make your costume from.

Tip#4 Your Own Closet

Everyone has a graduation gown or an old wedding dress or a broom handle to be used as an accessory or other assorted items laying around the bedroom or attic.

This may seem like a simple Halloween homemade costume idea but many people seem to have a hard time remembering it each year and end up buying the same items they already have at home.

Frightfully Fun Halloween Decor

It’s crunch time! With Halloween just around the corner, it’s crunch time on getting those costumes, candy, pumpkins for carving, and of course decorations. I came across some really cool and fun ideas for decorating and having party supplies. Oriental Trading has been in the past where I got most of my holiday craft ideas and supplies.

This year my class and I made bats, as well as, ghosts, but I also got some of their goody bag stuffers too! The kits usually make 10 or 12 and sometimes more. I have a small class of only 5 kids, so I used the extras to decorate the outside of our house.

Oriental Trading offers many craft kits, tons of candy, and all kinds of supplies for parties anytime of the year. They are timely in delivery and affordable. I always wait until almost the last minute to make my order because as the holiday gets closer they start dropping prices allowing me to buy more. I have to be careful though because I get carried away with all the cute things they have.

Here are some more ideas for you and your guests to enjoy:

Using a napkin, a glass, some felt circles and double sided sticky tape you make ghosts for your place settings. Just drape the napkin over the glass and tuck in the bottom of the napkin. Now add your circles for eyes using the tape.

Create a glowing center piece using pumpkins of different sizes, a fall runner, and candles. Cut out the stem of the smaller pumpkins to put taper candles in, cut out designs in bigger pumpkins and place votive candles inside, and leave some with no cut out at all. The runner makes the piece pop as well as catches drips from the candles, add some petroleum jelly to the cut outs to prevent them turning brown.

Having a Halloween party? How about these as cute favors. Get enough small pumpkins or gourds for the number of guests you are planning on having. Draw spider webs on them with a black paint pen. Hot glue a plastic spider to it and tie a piece of candy to the stem. These also work well for place settings. Instead of candy tie a name tag to the stem.

Love candles and want to make it a glowing good time? Get some Halloween paper lanterns to spook up the yard. How bout floating eyeballs? Yes these are candles that you place in a bowl of water light and enjoy. There are also candle holders that are made for just this occasion and candles in Halloween colors.

Don’t want to get messy or just don’t have the time to carve a pumpkin? These wrought iron stands are great for the simplistic decorators and can be used year after year. There are also stickers and paint to decorate a pumpkin with. so plop that pumpkin down and paint it, stick it, or just enjoy our stand.

Moving on with more ideas…

Go to the local Dollar store and pick up some mini buckets to use as candy dishes. These buckets are already decorated for Halloween and work great for this. If you would rather decorate your own, just buy some plain ones and use stickers, Halloween cards, foam stickers, paint, or whatever you like.

Make your windows more festive by hanging mini pumpkins in the window from the curtain rod. Add some ribbon or draw funny faces on them to jazz them up a bit.

Spook up drinks with Halloween straws. I got mine at the Dollar Tree here where I live. They have pumpkins, skeletons, and spiders I do believe. They also make great goody bag stuffers.

Dress up your kitchen with hand towels, and wall plaques with Halloween designs on them. Maybe put a spooky candle display in the kitchen window.

Last but certainly not least PARTY SUPPLIES!!!  So there are millions of things out there to make your party a spooktacular good time. From plates to table covers. Go all out and don’t ever think it’s to much because with Halloween, if it’s done right there is never to much. After all you want your guests to remember your party right?

This has been fun to share with you all and I hope in doing some research and shopping you and your guest have a ghoulish good time.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!
