How to Design a wonderful Princess Lolita fit for 2011 Halloween cosplay party ?

An adult princess party: we’re not talking all princess Disney costumes here (although all who arrive Cinderella princess dresses and Snow White princess dresses will be admitted.) An adult princess party is an opportunity to live out the childhood princess dream with a party of your friends, dressed in Little Adventures princess costumes adult as well.

Think pink? A pink princess party is an easy one to follow. Pink tiaras and pink martinis should be provided, as well as small pink-iced cookies. Pink princess décor is easy to find, since pink infiltrates most of the princess Disney costumes and princess costumes adult.

If a pink princess is too exuberant, there are many other themed options.

A Princess Ball makes the men invited to the party feel less awkward about attending. Request formal attire, men can come in suits or tuxes and women can arrive in their best rendition of the Cinderella princess dress. Lay red carpet down on the entryway, and as an added flair, have someone with a powdered wig announce the guests as they arrive. The party can follow as a usual ball, with dancing and refreshments. With a Cinderella princess party, you can include a location to try on a “glass slipper” as well.

A black and white princess party puts a modern edge on a traditional feminine theme.

Think of a Snow White princess dress in a black, white, and silver. Use these colors to decorate, enhancing with white lights, candles, and dark furniture. The modernistic elements of this type of party will put guests more at ease with a princess theme, while still allowing all in princess costumes adult to accessorize their Little Adventures Cinderella princess dress with a tiara.

A Disney princess theme is so childish that it can not only revive that childish spark, but be humorous as well. Have your friends pull out any princess Disney costumes they have. If they need a princess costume adult, check into brands like Little Adventures for their adult princess collection. Little Adventures makes a Cinderella princess dress and Snow White princess dress in adult sizes, as well as other princess costumes adult. Decorate with the Disney princess accessories, and play Disney movie soundtracks as the background music. If it’s an all-women party and everyone is in their princess Disney costumes, don’t be shy about playing a classic old Disney movie and watching it with popcorn together.

You’ve got the princess Disney costumes set aside from the girls dress up costumes. You’ve even made a selection from the princess costumes adult for you to wear to the birthday party. Everything is lined up for the perfect princess birthday party… except the cake. Well don’t get your Cinderella princess dress all in a ruffle! There are a lot of great options for the perfect princess birthday cake, from a Snow White princess standing cake to simple cupcake holders. Whatever your style, there is a princess cake option that will, quite literally, put the icing on the cake for your princess party.

The most extravagant cake idea is the standing princess doll cake. You’ll need a Barbie-sized plastic doll for this cake of a Cinderella princess or Snow white princess or other princess of your choice. Bake a cake in a round bundt or bell-shaped pan. Strip the doll, wash her quickly, and gently press her into the center of the cake. Decorate the cake as the dolls dress, using the princess Disney costumes as a guide. This standing cake looks just like the princess herself, and is memorable for the birthday girl to have a cake that looks just like her girls dress up costumes.

Castle cakes come in all shapes and sizes. They can be as simple as a sheet cake with a couple castle-shaped toppers or as extravagant as piled loaf cakes cut into a castle, complete with moat. Castle cakes are more than just cakes; they are centerpieces to the party. The memory of a mother in a princess costumes adult, carrying a lit castle cake to the center of a table of singing friends is a memory that is sure to last a lifetime.

Cake toppers are a simple way to make any cake special. Look for toppers shaped like a Cinderella princess, Snow White princess, or other princess. What is the birthday girl‘s Custom Princess Dress Cosplay Costume ? Is she wearing a special girls dress up costume to the party? If so, you can search for a cake topper that would match the birthday girl‘s attire. A simple sheet cake can be a princess playground with just a cake topper two.

Planning An Adult Halloween Party?

Article by The Halloween Host

Are you faced with the daunting task of throwing a Halloween party this year? Here are some fun, creative ways to spice up an adult Halloween party.

Start with your invitations:You can construct your own or buy them. You might even want to pick a theme. One year we had a fractured superhero theme. Everyone took their favorite superhero and made a spin-off of it. For example, I picked Elastic Woman and became Plastic Woman. I wore many plastic containers and lids on my body. So our invites reflected the idea of fractured heroes. You can do an underworld theme, or scary movie characters. Have a blast with this. Also put in the invites that there will be judging for the scariest, cutest, creepiest, overall best and worst Halloween costume. Buy bottles of red wine and make fake labels to place around it for prizes.

Decorating for adults:The Halloween decorations is half the fun of throwing the party. Be sure to go with a spooky edge and not cute. After all, this is a party for adults and not your kids. For example, try lighting your house with only candles for a haunted feel. You can replace your window candle lights bulbs with flickering orange bulbs. Play some haunted music for an extra effect.

Food for thought:There are many recipes for Halloween party foods. Here is one everyone enjoys at our parties. Make deviled eggs with spider web patterns, eyeball donut holes, or ghost cookies. Or perhaps you could make a Skewered Antipasto Pumpkin. You’ll need a large pumpkin, a variety of olives, peppers, tomatoes, small mozzarella cheese balls, sliced chunks of salami or other meats etc. Place the items on the skewers and then place them all around the pumpkin. Be creative. How about some inventive?

Halloween Party Blood Punch:Fill a large punch bowl with tomato juice half way and the other half with orange juice. For added spice mix spicy clamato mix with the tomato juice. Float iced eyeballs in drinks when served. To make the iced eyeballs just core out radishes with a melon baller and insert stuffed olives. Place one in each section of an ice cube tray add water and freeze – you can also fill trays with plastic spiders or some fake flies. How about taking a latex glove (clean thoroughly) and fill with red punch or limeade and freeze. When frozen run under warm water and remove the iced hand from the glove. Place in punch bowl where it will float for a frightening look.

The best part of hosting a Halloween party is there are no limits to your imagination. Planning an adult Halloween party is practically as much enjoyment as the party itself. Have a fearfully good time with your party and take pleasure in our suggestions.

Party Supplies for a Halloween Party

Article by Theodore Michaels

Halloween is an exciting holiday and an event that calls for celebration. What better way to celebrate this October holiday than with a party?

While you may be thinking that organizing a Halloween party is a daunting task, it really is anything but that. With the right attitude, anyone can arrange a Halloween party for friends or family. So, let’s get started teaching you everything you need to know!

Before we can get started shopping for actual supplies, we need to get you ready as the host. That mean’s tracking down a scary looking costume. We recommend doing some internet research for a local costume retailer. You’ll be sure to find some perfect costumes for the event. Remember, you want to get on this pronto. The minute October comes around, people will be running right and left trying to get their hands on a costume. You want to get this over with as soon as possible.

Now comes the fun party, shopping for the supplies. You have two options, sticking to retail stores or heading to the internet. If you have a large retailer in your area (such as Target or Walmart), your best bet is to head there the minute they begin stocking Halloween stuff. These stores are guaranteed to have some good prices on themed party supplies. You should be able to pick up some napkins, cups, and knifes rather cheaply.

If you want a bit more of a variety, and aren’t exactly in the biggest rush, the internet may be the answer your dilemma. Head to Google and search for party supplies. Literally millions of sites should make their way to your screen. Browse through the first few results and note the sites which made a good impression on you. Once you’ve got a list of at least five sites, narrow it down to one site which you feel has the largest selection and best prices.

Once you’ve decided where you want to purchase your party supplies from and have gone ahead and bought them, be sure to store them in a readily available location until the day prior to Halloween. On October 30th, take the supplies the out and begin setting up any tables or chairs you may need to accommodate guests. Once that’s done with, you can go ahead and begin placing your party supplies where need be. Make sure to keep perishable items in the fridge until guests arrive the following day.

After you’re through with setting up everything, take a breather and pat yourself on the back. You’re Halloween party is ready to go!

Keep the Spirit of Halloween Alive at Your Party with Halloween Cards

Halloween affords everyone an opportunity to dress like someone else and indulge in the creepy. Adults as well as children want to get together with friends and celebrate the spookiest day of the year. So, with that in mind, they often plan Halloween parties. With Halloween cards, you can let everyone know the details of your party ahead of time so they know what to wear and when to come.

Halloween stems from an old Celtic holiday called Samhain, which was celebrated from sunset to sunrise to mark the shortening of the days and the end of the harvest. It was believed that on this day the barrier between our world and the otherworld thinned in certain places, leaving portals open for a short time through which the Tuatha de Danann (old Celtic gods) and the spirits of the dead could travel.

The holiday has since evolved into the celebration that we know today as Halloween.

Nowadays, Halloween is looked forward to by most people as an excuse to have a party, put pumpkin in everything, and try to scare each other silly with freakish costumes. Some people truly revel in the horror movies and love to wear a bloody mask and creep around without letting anyone know who they are.  Regardless of how you celebrate, though, you’ll need to include some important information on your Halloween cards.

You will have to include the date on your Halloween cards since you may be celebrating on a convenient Saturday instead of the day of the actual holiday. Also, you will want to make sure that your guests know if there is a theme or a contest. A costume competition is a good way to encourage your guests to actually dress up, instead of just showing up for the food.

If you are having a Disney or a Tim Burton theme for your Halloween party, you’ll want your guests to know so that they can pick a good costume.

Halloween is a tradition of spookiness that stretches back thousands of years and the modern version keeps the creepy going. Halloween cards let everyone know about your event so that you can celebrate the holiday in style.

Hosting A Halloween Party

Halloween is the time of year when kids love to dress up in costumes and get together for fun and games. By planning ahead and following the advice below, you can host the perfect Halloween party for your kids and their friends this year.

One Month Before The Party

Decide whether the party will be large or small. Have the kids make out a list of the people they want to invite.

Decide on the time, date and place for the party. If you choose to have the party some place other than at your home, go ahead and reserve the location now.

Decide on a budget for the party. Figure up the total amount that you want to spend for decorations, food and other party supplies. Include the cost of the location if the party will not be held at your home.

Decide on rules for the party.

Three Weeks Before The Party

Choose a theme for the party. For children in Elementary School, a Super Hero theme would be a good choice. For Middle and High School students, a Celebrity theme would be a big hit. For children of both age groups, a Monster theme would be a good suggestion.

Choose party invitations that match your theme. Mail them to the people on your guest list and be sure to include your phone number.

Go shopping for costumes this week. Do not wait until the very last minute. Go now while there is still a good selection of costumes to choose from.

Two Weeks Before The Party

Decide on the menu for the party. Will you be serving a meal or just snack foods? Will you do the cooking yourself or will you order the party food? If you need party treat ideas, do a Google search for Halloween recipes.

Make a list of the party decorations and other supplies that you will need to buy.

Decide on games and activities for the party. A costume contest and apple bobbing are two fun activities that the children will enjoy.

One Week Before The Party

Do your shopping for the party foods and other supplies this week. If possible, try to buy everything you need in one trip to save on time and gas.

Take care of any last minute tasks. Call any guests that you have not heard from and confirm if they will be attending the party. If the party will be held at your home, go ahead and put up the outdoor decorations now.

The Day Of The Party

Decorate the inside with spider webs on the ceilings. Place Halloween decorations (lighted jack-o-lanterns, lit candles, etc) around the room. If you are having the party at your home, hang black sheets, large ghosts or skeletons in doorways to block off certain areas. Give the party an eerie feel by having spooky music playing in the background.

Fix up treat bags for the children.

Show your party spirit by wearing a costume when you greet the guests at the door.

Once the party begins, sit back, relax and enjoy yourself.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!
